I got a lot out of reading William Zinsser’s On Writing Well, and D. McCloskey’s Rhetoric
of Economics. I also found Glenn Ellison’s “The slowdown of the economics publishing
process” in the JPE useful for thinking about how papers should be structured (and refereed
and edited, but that’s another story)

I'm

Back! It's important to keep memos and it's a great habit. Esp so in retrospective.
Still there is this awkwardness of talking to air. The best way would be to keep all entries private.
Otherwise it's like a public monologue :(
ps. prayed out loud yesterday before falling asleep, and glad that I did, moreover I'm glad that I felt compelled to do so. There aren't enough ways to express and explore this connection that is ultimately a shortcut to yourself. It shows that my mind faces the right direction.
